A: Her development: She has a inner conflict. She left her safe homeland in India, and went over to another culture and another land. She does not feels as quiet British as her hosbond. She tries hard to fit in. But it seems like Anuj does not pay attention to her feelings.
B: Her relationship to Anuj: It is "good", but she does not love him but she tries.
As said before, he has- a justed his new life in England, he feels 100% British, and she is still a India women in her mind. It is like Lata, and Anuj lives to different life under same roof.
